When running for reelection, District Attorney Frank Scanlon narrowly escaped the explosion of a car. A rumor spread that the attack was conducted by Calvin Ryland, his electoral opponent. But it was his brother, Warren Ryland, who desperately want Scanlon outside the office.
The Green Hornet is able to track down Warren, and his usual excuse of being a rogue shadow intends to help his brother by drawing a wave of crime in order to make a bad day Scanlon. But Warren has a plan to ensure even safer choice of Calvin. If successful, it could cost her life Green Hornet.
